FAQ
How do I record a new flashcard?
Open a folder, tap Add Card, then use the Record buttons for the front and back.
Can I use text-to-speech?
Yes. When creating a card, enter text and choose Text-to-Speech as the audio source. You can preview and change voices before saving.
My TTS voices do not show up or CSV import is stuck at 0%
Go to Settings > Text-To-Speech > On Device and add at least one voice. Then make sure your Side Correspondence is set so the app knows which voice to use for each side of a card.
How does the spaced repetition scheduling work?
After each card, you rate how well you remembered it. The app schedules the next review based on that rating, showing difficult cards sooner and easy cards later.
Why don't my cards sync across devices?
Sync is available through iCloud on iOS. Make sure iCloud storage is enabled in the app, you are signed in to the same Apple ID on each device, and you have an active internet connection.
Review mode audio plays in a card, but not during a session
On Android, check that the media volume is up and your audio output is set correctly (headphones or speaker). Try pressing the volume buttons during a review to ensure it is using the media stream, then restart the session.
Can I use voice commands during review?
Yes, voice commands are available in Settings > Voice Commands (beta). Download a speech model for your language and test commands before starting a session.
Can I shorten the autoplay delay?
Yes. Go to Settings > Autoplay and adjust the timing settings such as time between cards and wait factor.
How do I make review sessions repeat continuously?
Enable Loop in the review options so the session restarts after the last card.
How do I import a CSV file?
Open a folder, choose Import CSV, and select or paste your CSV data. The app will generate audio using your current TTS voice.
Can I import multiple audio files at once?
Not yet. You can import one audio file per card, use CSV + TTS for bulk creation, or use the advanced manual import described in the Import & Export guide.
How do I share a folder with someone?
Open the folder and tap Share. The app creates a .share file you can send by AirDrop, messaging, or cloud storage.
How do I back up my cards?
Go to Settings > Backup to generate a .backup file. Store it somewhere safe, then use Settings > Restore if you ever need to recover.
Why can I not find cards using search?
Search uses text and speech recognition indexes. Go to Settings > Speech Recognition and run Recognise and Index Files to make audio searchable.
How do I contact support?
Open Settings and tap Contact Support.
