Statistics
Open Statistics Filters in the toolbar to select a Review session and Timeframe for 7, 30, 90 days or all time. Every chart uses the active cards in that session’s saved folder, tag or flag collection, including cards that are not due yet. Review history belongs to the cards, so it includes their recorded reviews from any session. History filters affect past activity, grades, card creation and recall results; lifetime review totals, memory strength and due forecasts describe the selected cards.
The Statistics tab answers two questions: am I keeping up? and what is coming? It is built from your review history, so it fills in as you grade cards. Pull down, or tap the refresh button, to recalculate.
Today
The card at the top is the one to glance at daily: how many reviews you have done today, with four totals beneath it — Cards and Sides in the selected session’s collection, Reviews recorded over those cards’ lifetimes, and how many you did Yesterday.
Yesterday is there for comparison, not guilt. A short session most days beats a long one most weeks.
Rating Mix
A bar beneath the chart compares graded and passive reviews in the selected history period, with a count for each.
Graded answers in the selected history period are broken down by Again, Hard, Good, and Easy. It is the quickest read on whether a deck is pitched right:
- Mostly Good and Easy — your cards are well formed and you are keeping up.
- A large Again slice — you are behind, or some cards are badly written. Check the worst offenders before blaming yourself; see Writing Good Cards.
- Almost all Easy — the cards may be too shallow to be worth reviewing.
Daily Activity
A calendar grid, one square per day, shaded from Less to More. It shows the exact Timeframe period selected in the toolbar, including inactive days; All time starts with the first dated activity. The seven-day view uses a single row; longer periods use labeled month grids that wrap to fit the available width. All time initially shows the four latest months; Older months opens a separate Daily Activity screen showing all months, including the latest four. The start and end dates appear below the chart, and today has an orange border. The timeframe defaults to 30 days and remembers your last selection when you reopen the app.
Future Due
How many cards are currently scheduled over the next 7, 30, or 90 days, using the Statistics toolbar’s Timeframe selection. All time shows all currently scheduled reviews through the latest due date; long forecasts use monthly totals. Use it to spot a pile-up before you walk into it — a spike usually means a big import or a long study session all landed on one day.
Due dates use the selected session’s FSRS configuration, together with its passive scheduler. Switch sessions using the toolbar filter; that session also becomes the one selected on the Review tab.
To flatten a spike, keep Maximum Cards modest on your session and review a little each day, rather than letting one sitting balloon.
Card Creation
The cumulative number of cards in the selected session over time. Cards created before the selected period contribute to its starting total. If no cards were created during the period, the graph shows a flat line at that total across the full range.
Spaced Repetition graphs
- Recall versus target compares monthly recalled answers with the retention targets used when those cards were scheduled. Only the first graded review of a card on a local calendar day counts, after it has left learning and at least one day has passed. Again means forgotten; Hard, Good and Easy mean recalled. Learning/relearning steps, same-day retries and passive listens are excluded. Each month includes its numerator and sample size; small samples can be noisy.
- Rating Mix reports graded reviews and passive listens separately for the selected period. Listening does not demonstrate recall.
- Future Due separates overdue cards from cards due today for the selected session. The forecast is a snapshot of currently scheduled cards, rather than a simulation of future grades.
- Memory Strength lets you switch between stability (days until estimated recall falls to 90%), difficulty (1–10), and estimated recall today. Only cards with graded history are included.
- Hardest Cards ranks cards with graded history by their current FSRS difficulty, highest first, with no lapse threshold. It shows the five hardest cards initially; Show all N cards opens a separate screen with the full ranking. Open one to edit its question or inspect its history.
Per-card statistics
Library-wide numbers hide the one card that keeps failing. Open any card and choose ⋯ > Card Statistics to see:
- Spaced Repetition — desired retention, estimated recall, stability, difficulty, a forgetting curve, and the next interval for each grade. The curve marks the FSRS due date; a separate explanation identifies when passive listening postpones the effective next review.
- Reviews and Current streak — consecutive reviews without an Again.
- Created, First review, and Last review.
- Review Timeline — every review plotted from creation to now.
- Review History — each grade you gave, with its date.
The same panel is in the review player's toolbar, where it also shows the card's Next Review — useful at the exact moment a card trips you up.
Clear Card Statistics permanently removes that card's review history, so it is scheduled as a new card. The card itself is not deleted.
What is counted
- Practice sessions — sessions with Record Review Progress off — never reach your statistics.
- Deactivated folders are left out of statistics until you turn them back on.
- Cards without a creation date, which can happen with very old or hand-made cards, still count in totals but cannot appear in the date-based charts.
